The generous contribution of thousands of hours by volunteers allows the museum to be properly staffed and to work successfully on preservation projects and special events. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available in operations, collections, preservation, outreach, and research.
VOLUNTEER BENEFITS
The museum works to match the interests and available time of individual volunteers with museum needs. You are encouraged to visit, tour the facility, and talk to the other volunteers. Each year we honor the contributions of an outstanding volunteer with our Volunteer of the Year award.
