DESCRIPTION:One of the oldest incorporated communities\, Parker’s Landing began in 1845 when David C. Parker staked his claim amongst the Chinook-speaking Indigenous community and named the area Parkersville. By the 1870s\, merchants had purchased much of the land neighboring Parkersville\, giving rise to the community known today as Washougal.\n\nWander Clark County summer walking tour series occurs most Saturdays from June thru August at 9am.
